Who are we?
Save My Medicine is an initiative launched by a group of concerned specialist sterile compounding pharmacies across Australia.
Our goal is to protect the tens of thousands of Australians who rely on compounding pharmacies to produce low-stock medicine for the treatment of diabetes and obesity.
Continued supply will, quite literally, save lives.

From 1st October, the Federal Government plans to ban all compounding pharmacies from compounding GLP-1RAs (eg. semaglutide/tirzepatide).
These products are widely relied upon by Australians who are diabetic or who face dire health risks and increased morbidity due to obesity.
You may be aware that the commercial product has been in short supply and is expected to remain so until 2025.
With global shortages expected to continue, Australian sterile compounding pharmacies are helping tens of thousands of Australians daily who otherwise would have no way to access this life changing medicine.
Sadly, if the Federal Government’s plan to ban compounding pharmacists from making GLP-1 RAs (eg. Semaglutide/tirzepatide) goes ahead from 1st October, you and many Australians will be left with prescriptions you simply cannot fill, which may negatively impact your health and well-being.
